This route now lives inside the unified NavRules site and is the starting point for chart reading, plotting, bearings, fixes, and practical coastal navigation drills. The first live exercise pass now branches into the current and wind reader.

Read The Chart

Chart title blocks, compass roses, scales, soundings, symbols, aids to navigation, and restricted areas.

Plot The Course

Measure direction and distance, transfer lines, build routes, and practice parallels-dividers workflow.

Fix Position

Latitude/longitude reading, visual bearings, cross bearings, estimated position, and dead reckoning drills.

Train Under Pressure

Scenario-based chart questions, hazard recognition, route safety checks, and timed practice sets.
